Umberley Privacy Policy

Effective date: 19 October 2026 · Published by morquindel

This policy explains what Umberley collects, how it is used, and who it is shared with. It applies to the Android app published on Google Play.

Summary

Umberley uses Google Firebase for anonymous analytics and push notifications. It opens its web page at https://morquindel.world/about/umberley in your device browser so you can read the app description and reach Google Play. It has no sign-in, no accounts, no in-app purchases and no advertising shown inside the app.

Information we collect

We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location, microphone, camera or health data. We do not sign you in and we do not create an account for you.

Permissions

Who the data is shared with

The data above is sent to Google (Firebase and Google Play Services) and stored on Google's infrastructure. It is processed under Google's Firebase Privacy and Security policy and Google's Privacy Policy. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with any other third party.

Data retention

Firebase Analytics data is retained for the default retention window set in the Firebase project (currently 2 months for user-level data and 14 months for event-level data). The push notification token is kept while the app is installed and is deleted when you uninstall or clear the app's data.

Your choices

Children

Umberley is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has used the app, contact us and we will delete anything linked to that install.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new effective date. Material changes will also be announced in the app's release notes on Google Play.
